Day 34 - lovely day & discoveries

So today the sun remembered how to shine again & I've had a lovely day!

Started off fairly manic - breakfast then take Dan & Dom to school for Strictly rehearsals (more of that later!), off to Eddie to collect my car - one new radiator & one new tyre & I'm £720 lighter!!) - and then on to shul to see the new rabbi.

After shul took Tobz to school for cricket then came home. Made myself a lovely salad with HB eggs and smoked salmon & quark. Watched some tennis, chatted to my sister about our dads 80th birthday tea in October and then off to collect Tobz.

Early evening we went with our friends to watch our sons in Strictly with the very tolerant girls from NLCS - was the most hilarious spectacle I've seen for a long time.

Afterwards to two boys went out 'somewhere' & we went to Edgware for Sushi. I made great choices (I hope) - had miso soup, sashimi & blackened cod - absolutely yummy :0)

Then just as I got home my darling oldest son phones 'are you awake?' he says 'I'm on a train in Harrow - can you collect us from Pinner?' I've just collected them - my eldest is just the slightest bit tipsy & very amusing with it!!! Now just waiting for Tobz to come out of shul.

Today's discovery was care of my lovely cousin Anne. Firstly, my journalist cousin' told me she thought this blog was entertaining - I'm so flattered. After all she is a professional writer & I'm so not!!! - fabulous grammar :0)
Also she asked me how many people were reading the blog. I had no idea but she told me how to find out and surprise surprise it's being read by an average of 35 of you lovely people most days.

Thank you so much - you have no idea what it means to me. Also I don't feel like such a loon writing and talking to myself every day xx
