My appetite has gone AWOL & I miss it!!
I know I shouldn't complain & if I lose a pound next week I'll be under 18 stone - not been there since the week before Toby's barmitzvah (March 2010). So I do have incentive but even so it is a bit weird.
I went into work a bit late today as had to wait here to show Agnes how to set the alarm & wait for someone to come to sort out the keys for our windows.
Had a black coffee & one HiFi bar for breakfast - only one not the whole box!!
During the day I had lots of water & black coffee. For 'lunch' I had a Spicy Tomato Mug Shot and a yoghurt & that was it until I came home at 8pm.
Just had a small salad with a couple of frankfurters, followed by some blackberries & a mandarin - I'm stuffed :)
Most peculiar....
Tomorrow I have an all day meeting so will take some fruit with me to munch during the day.
Had interesting BBM chat tonight with a very old friend (male) who has just taken the SW plunge. He lost 6lbs in his first week & is (in his words) 'not entirely happy'.
I told him not to be daft but it is a fact that we all have a perception about what we should lose in our first week, how much we should have lost in x weeks etc & if we don't we are disappointed and often go in to 'to hell with it' mode. In turn that can lead to pressing the self-destruct button and we all know where we end up then!!
Part of the benefit of writing this blog for me is the commitment to honesty which is definitely helping to keep me out of the 'sod it' zone - this is my strategy and if you can I recommend you find one too because that way only leads to weight-gain and misery (as well as the secret chocolate stash!!)
With that I bid you goodnight xx

You're doing well Lisa - my strategy for losing weight is making sure I keep my exercise up - walking and zumba mainly and then I don't feel so guilty about saying 'sod it' (and eating a chocolate eclair!) I have sent you a message on FB - have a look. Nighty night x
